Life on Mars? Non-Detection of Methane Suggests No Modern-Day Microbes | Wired Science | Wired.com on Wired

NASA’s Curiosity rover has sniffed the Martian atmosphere for methane and, so far, turned up empty. The much-anticipated measurement strikes a blow to scientists who previously had found hints of methane on Mars, which could have been an indication of life.
